The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was recently approved by the Union Cabinet and it has proposed a lot of progressive and uplifting changes in the education system.

The National Education Policy 2020 (NEP2020) which has recently been approved by the Union Cabinet has great potential to overhaul and revamp the education system in New India of the 21st Century. NEP 2020 has several segments and features each of which needs a separate analysis and commentary. This brief article focuses on higher education in particular that can shape the New India through real-world application-oriented education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) while making equally important progress in communication skills and interpersonal attributes to help India reclaim its historical role as a global leader in the field of education.
